link mesh size for optimal poultry protection.
This product achieves a perfect 7/7 for sizing accuracy. However,
since it’s available only in 100 GSM
chain link wire (instead of higher GSM grades like 275 GSM
chain link), the wire itself rates 4/7. Overall quality: 5/7.
Life Span — (4/7)
A 100 GSM poultry chain link fence offers moderate
durability for standard poultry housing needs. While a 275 GSM
chain link mesh can last considerably longer, this model is not
produced in that grade. Lifespan rating: 4/7.
Security — (3.5/7)
Made from 1.6 mm poultry chain link fencing, this mesh is excellent
for keeping out smaller threats like crows, pigeons, sparrows, cranes, and even
rodents (with proper sealing). However, it’s not intended to stop larger
predators or determined intruders. Poultry-specific security rating: 3.5/7.

Thanks to advanced machinery and large-scale production, we manufacture 1.6 mm

Q: My shed is 8 feet, and I only need chain link for 8
feet. Do you have it?
A: Yes. As manufacturers, we can produce poultry chain link fencing
in any height you require. From mesh openings of ¾” to 4” and wire diameters
from 1.6 mm to 4 mm, we can supply virtually any size combination. While our
most common orders for poultry houses are 10 ft 100 GSM
chain link (hence why it’s our standard), we can make your 8 ft
requirement without issue.
Q: I need 1” chain link in 16 gauge. Do you have it?
A: Yes, we manufacture chain link fencing from ¾” to 1.5” mesh sizes in 16 g
(1.6 mm) wire. While the 1.25”
chain link mesh is most popular online due to demand, we can quote and
produce 1” mesh for you on request.
Q: What is the maximum height of chain link you can
manufacture?
A: Our production machines can make custom poultry chain link
fencing up to a maximum height of 24 ft. Although such tall orders are
rare, we have the capability to fulfill them.
Q: How many years will this chain link last without
rust?
A: We’ve supplied quality fencing since 1979, and we believe customers
deserve only the best. Our 100 GSM
1.6 mm chain link typically lasts 9–12 years or more without rust under
normal conditions. You can trust our materials for long-term performance.
Q: Can I get 275 GSM coating in this wire?
A: Galvanization is the zinc coating applied to wire. To achieve
a higher zinc weight, the wire must have enough surface area to hold it. The
surface of a 1.6 mm wire is not large enough to carry 275 GSM,
which is why this size is only made in 100 GSM. If 1.6 mm in 275 GSM
ever becomes available, we will be among the first to offer it for even greater
durability.
